Resilience in the digital era

Digitalization offers fascinating opportunities: Increased productivity, more stimulating work, higher degrees of autonomy and flexibility – if things work out well. At the same time tremendous fears are rising: More stress at work, expectations to adapt swiftly to new technologies and ways of working, „always on“-exhaustion – only to be replaced by a machine in five or ten years.

At any rate: Business and work is changing dramatically and at unseen speed. Dealing with uncertainty and change while remaining calm and focused becomes indispensable for leaders, resilience a key competence. Those who seek security in the outside world will increasingly be disappointed – the key to success is to cultivate our inner strength.
